Things that one must avoid in the 20s

The most crucial part of our life is when we enter our 20s. It is the basis of the rest of life. This period of the 20s will decide how our whole life span will be. It is the beginning of our life. We experience lots of things that can be worse or great. Some experiences are one of the most astonishing and others are life lessons or might be some which we feel like we have not experienced because life is short and lived once. Instead, we can get experience from others' life and their lessons.

The thought to write this blog was to make my audience aware of what people unknowingly do in the 20s which we can avoid in order to flourish our life. In other words, to avoid these blunders with the motive to double up our energy to fulfill our aspirations and bring happiness in our lives.

Things that one must avoid in the 20s are:

1. No more excuses

Excuses are the ones that stop us to achieve our desired goals. We take these excuses and realize them later on. 

For instance, A common dialogue spoken by many, " we will not repeat next time.''  

Just stop ourselves to make excuses.

Making excuses at present will make us dissenting in the future along with unhappiness and regret.

2. Destroy weakness



Being a human, It's a bit normal that all have strengths and weaknesses. Strengths are ones for which we get appreciation while Weakness comes up with lots of criticism and insecurity.

Coming in the 20s, We have untold stories that make us feel worse and stop us to focus on life. Working on ourselves and vanish those untold stories to provide peace to our souls. For this, Things get better when we work on weaknesses and make them our strengths. This will reduce our insecurity and will make us feel happy about ourselves.

3. Investment

Investment is a vital part of life. Investing at right time will pay in the future. Here, we are discussing 3  kinds of investment:
Investing our time
Investing our money
Investing on ourselves

Prioritizing our time and investing the time in the right place will be fruitful in the future. Investing our time for updating ourselves, learning new skills, and working on personal growth. In fact, try to invest our money as soon as we start our earnings. Make an investment to create a second source of income.
Warren Buffet started investing his money at the age of 11.
Rest, we all know.

4. Focus

One reason so far that distracts our focus is not clear with where to focus or not having any specific goal. As youngsters are not clear with what to do, giving ourselves the direction for life is most important. 
 
Clearing what to do is a crucial task that needs to be done. Just have self-talk and ask ourselves few questions about what to do. 

Ask ourselves:
Figure out our goals
What are the few things that are important to do in our life? Push everything set aside and discover that along with designing the path for ourselves.

After a short span of time, check out the progress of what we are doing. Insist ourselves to have weekly or monthly self-check in order to stay focused and committed with goals.
My Buddies, it is our life and we will be spending maximum time on our work. Make sure what we are doing that must be of our choice.                                              
5. Sleeping too much


Sleeping is a vital part of life. This relaxes our bodies and soul. Getting appropriate sleep is a must whatever the situation is. As we know, excess of everything is bad. Same in the case of sleep, We must know how much sleep is required by the body.  

I have listened from someone,'' I am not having much to do, so I am sleeping.''

The matter is giving more sleep to the body leads to a wastage of time. Therefore, Adding that extra time for achieving our mission is right in the 20s. In this way, we can save that time and invest in the right place. For instance, saving that 2 hrs daily and investing these hours into our mission, can give us more prosperity and reach our desired mission sooner.

Sam Untermyer, the famous international lawyer, never got a decent night's sleep in his life. Any guesses? what did he do?
Instead of tossing and worrying, he used to wake up and study. He studied more than anyone else. He invested his sleep time and was the probably highest-paid lawyer in all history. 

6. Choosing Social Circle wisely


I read a quote from Jim Rohn, "you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

Social circles have a great role to play in our lives. We are highly influenced by the people around us.
We unknowingly get influenced by them. That affects our life. Have a social circle that motivates us to work more and supports us for growth (self-development).

Remember, Staying away from negative entities, can harm our lives or destroy our minds. Such People are not conscious of their lives and have a destructive mindset. For instance, they are engaged in smoking, smuggling, and a number of such activities. That affects our life. Keep a check on the people with whom we spend our lives. 


7. ''Herd mentality''

Here we are, unique, eternal aspects of consciousness with an infinity of potential, and we have allowed ourselves to become an unthinking, unquestioning blob of conformity and uniformity. A herd. Once we concede to the herd mentality, we can be controlled and directed by a tiny few. And we are."

It's a mentality when People are not able to look at what they can do in their life, they can be suspicious of letting others choose their path them. It is a bit normal mistake done by many. We get easily influenced by our peer groups. Follow what is right for us and it's our path. We can independently take our decision.
  
8. Health  

The 20s are the time which is known for career building and the most exciting time of our life. A full week is mend for working and other for fun and party. This period is that much fast where we unknowingly neglect our health. The motive to add this point is to make my people conscious of their health. We can change our lifestyle and try to be active throughout the day. Adding more nutrition to our diet and supplementing the best alternatives while traveling. Making our health is a priority will be beneficial in the future in terms of happiness, illness-free life, and more.
